Light the area

Suggested by PWt

You don't need a room full of blazing lights to sit and enjoy a good book or share a puzzle with your 7 year-old. Instead, why not turn down (or turn off) the room lights and use “task lighting” to get bright, concentrated light only where you need it. That can mean using a table lamp instead of a 3-bulb overhead fixture when reading at a desk.
