home-made Christmas

Suggested by envirogal

Here is a few simple, fun and easy way to add a personal touch to giving gifts, or adding a different touch to you presents. The front of last year's cards can quickly be made into the To and From tags. Simply cut out the section (s) of the front picture you want. If the picture is glossy/metalic, make sure the other side doesn't have any writing on it.

The readers of your family/friends will enjoy home-made bookmarks. Choose the pictures from last year's cards and cut out what you want. Glue them to a piece of bristle board. Wait until the glue dries; this will help stiffen up the picture. Carefully cut around the picture to not show the backing. punch a hole in the desired spot at the top. Make your tassel (light weight) and your done. Make sure to smooth over the card to make sure you secure and release any trapped air. Both ideas add a wonderful touch to your your gift, or as a gift itself.
